Savvy’s Most Anticipated Games that were Announced at The Game Awards

Another Game Awards have come and gone. More and more this show is becoming less about the awards and more about the world premieres (and celebrities). Out of all the games announced at the awards here are my personal picks for my most anticipated games announced at the game awards.

Jurassic Park Survival

A first person action game that takes place after the events of the 1993 Jurassic Park Film. You play as inGen scientist Dr. Maya Joshi who didn’t evacuate the island in time. Parkouring around Isla Nublar looks like is going to be a blast!

The Casting of Frank Stone

A new single player game set in the universe of Dead by Daylight. In collaboration with Supermassive games. Its so nice to see a successful multiplayer game studio create a single player story driven game. Well I guess they so have that dating sim. In all seriousness I think an “Until Dawn” style game set in the Dead by Daylight universe sounds perfect.

Metaphor: ReFantazio

A fantasy game that looks like a mix of Persona and XenoBlade Chronicles made by Atlus. Seeing a Persona style game in a different setting sounds like a nice change of pace.

Big Walk

From the creators of Untitled Goose Game comes a cooperative online “walker-talker” as they call it. I am extremely curious about this one. Unsure what it is but optimistic nonetheless.

Lost Records: Bloom and Rage

From the team behind Life is Strange comes another coming of age story mystery about high school girls. I love the 1995 aesthetic and the mystery looks intriguing.

Black Myth: WuKong

A Souls-like RPG based on Journey to the West. A way to experience one of the great classical Chinese novels, with amazing graphics and epic boss fights to boot. If only all classic literature can be turned into a souls-like.

 The Last Sentinel

Not a lot of info was giving about this one. We only saw a cinematic trailer but it looks interesting. It takes place in a dystopian Tokyo it has robots and a women on a motorcycle with a cool helmet that save the day.

Harmonium: The Musical

A sign language musical adventure that looks adorable. A young deaf girl trapped in anther world using the power of music to find a way back home in time for her big show.

Tales of Kenzera: ZAU

Abubakar Salim (the voice of Bayek of Siwa) created a game about the grief he had after his father passed. Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is a side scrolling action-adventure game about a young shaman who bargains with the god of death to bring his Baba back.

Asgard’s Wrath 2

I really enjoyed my time with Asgard’s Wrath so I’m looking forward to the sequel. Taking place right after the first game, Asgard Wrath 2 you might stop Loki from destroying the world. With more heroes to possess, animals to turn into followers and puzzles to solve what’s not to love.
