Another Awesome Games Done Quick in the books and this year we had some pretty unique runs. There was a musical theme this year with an opera, live band, saxophone and piano performance. These are some of the top runs I have managed to catch this year since it is a 24 hour event throughout the whole week I may have missed some great runs and if I did please let me know in the comments below. This list is in no particular order and does not mean I didn’t love every speedrun I was lucky enough to witness.
If you don’t know GDQ is a speedrunning event for charity. The main show happens twice a year with little mini events sprinkles throughout. Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) is there beginning of the year winter event and Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) happens mid year in (you guessed it) summer. This years AGDQ was raising money for the The Prevent Cancer Foundation, they raise over 2.5 million dollars.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii While Playing Piano by Wes
Pretty self explanatory this is one of the most impressive speedruns I have ever seen.
Crazy Taxi with Live Backing Band by chuckles825
Sticking with the musical theme, this one was so fun to watch I hope more speedruns have a live band backing them in the future. What a spectacle!
Elden Ring on Saxophone by Dr. Doot
I’ve seen a lot of gimmick Elden Ring Runs but this one is my favorite.
Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando by Xem
Love a Ratchet and Clank speedrun but love the Opera performance at the end even more! Xem is always a delight to hear and to do the song from Secret Agent Clank was just *chiefs kiss*.
CHUNITHM LUMINOUS PLUS by Beazat, Blaze and Raveille
Rhythm game speedruns are always crazy! I love this couch they really hyped each other up and provided good commentary.
Fallout: New Vegas all “Romances” by tomatoangus
Tomatoangus is always a joy to watch. One of the first speedruns I ever saw was his all Fallout games run. This time he speeds through New Vegas completing the game and “romancing” all he can along the way.
Bite Night by Konception and swooce
Another silly and fun run is Bite Night. In fact after watching a few seconds I had to stop watching and play the game myself. After that I came back for this amazing run. That you for showing me this silly little game Konception and swooce, I would have never found it other wise.

I always wanted to try UFO 50, but after this run I REALLY wanna play UFO 50.
Grand Theft Auto Vice City Tightened Vice by EnglishBen
Loosened Vice Showcase at the end had me reeling!
