Sticky Business Review

Happy National Sticker Day!

Happy National Sticker day! The perfect game to celebrate this momentous day is Sticky Business, an online sticker shop simulation game. You create stickers by editing and combining images you purchase in the shop. There are different themes you can use to attract more customers. The more customers you attract the more stories you get to read. When ordering, some of the clients leave personal messages and the more of a specific aesthetic sticker you make the more you get to hear what’s going on in their life. It’s actually really sweet to read that your stickers are making someone happier.

Like real life you have a set amount of time through out the day to do all your duties. You will probably spend the most amount of time packing orders and printing stickers. When packing orders you can add little things like sweets and fun shaped paper clips to add more heart points. You can purchase new stickers with those heart points. You can also purchase different types of papers and sweets with the money you receive from orders. Packing little random candies in with your stickers reminds me of those delightful Etsy stores that go above and beyond adding an extra item or candy to your purchase.

This game really took me by surprise. I didn’t expect it to be as addicting. I started really caring about the stickers I created, and when people asked me to make specific stickers I obliged. I can see the loop getting tedious and samey after a while but trying to fit peoples request into your specific aesthetic is a fun challenge. Overall a good little cozy game to listen to audiobooks with.
