So I was watching the Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) speedrunning competition and during the awful block they were playing this game called Bite Night. One look and I knew I wanted to stop watching and start playing. In fact I don’t even know why this game is part of the awful block because it is a delight.

Bite Night is a silly first person horror game in which you are the employee at a gas station on the night shift. You are tasked with your basic causes of restocking shelves and cleaning but you also have to look out for customers who need their gas pumped. Which is strange for me personally because I come from a place where you pump your own gas.

Among the spooky and strange customers you may come across a big bad monster or two. Be wary of the old man lurking outside and make sure he doesn’t get inside. But in all seriousness this game is a fun little 30 minute comedy that gave me a few chuckles. I’m glad I played it myself and I think you should too. I feel a little silly giving this game a score but I’m gonna do it anyway. (Gets a docked a little for how long the loading bar takes to interact with objects sometimes, it can be long and repetitive)
