What at first I thought was an April fools joke turned out to be very real. Sonic the Hedgehog has collaborated with IHOP. You can order classic IHOP menu items but now they have Sonic character names in front of them. If you order them “Sonic Style” they come with a side of onion rings which is very cute.
Of course I went and of course I ordered the Tails 2x2x2 and it was the same as it has always been, delicious. Both Sonic and Shadow have pancake stacks with Sonics being of course blueberry and Shadows being chocolate. Knuckles gets a chicken sandwich and Eggman an Eggs Benedict which just makes sense. Finally Amy gets the Strawberry Waffle Sundae which for some reason isn’t on the IHOP menu website but is on the menu.
When you use the IHOP app you can collect PanCoins, you receive 1 for every 5$ spent. With 30-40 of those coins you can redeem digital codes for Sonic Origins Plus, Sonic Frontiers or Sonic Superstars. There is also an exclusive retro diner outfit you can get for Amy in Sonic Superstars for 5 Coins. Sadly all of these are for consoles only, so if you bought the games on PC you are out of luck…like me
